Head Movements

Different schools have different methods of using the head at barre, at center, and preference of inclined, tilted, up or down. Each school is correct, and the rules are a little more clear when it comes to individual techniques. The Cecchetti method dictates the use of head in four rules, while the general rule for the Russian school follows that the head should always be turned in the direction of the forward shoulder, while some schools will tell you to keep the head towards the direction of the closing foot.Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
